There was something so quiet and tender about this season of their lives.
We started the morning along the shoreline at Jean Klock Park, wrapped in soft light and that calm, earthy stillness that only exists right after sunrise. The lake felt endless, the air was gentle, and everything about it held this quiet anticipation… like the world was slowing down just for them.
After baby was born, we stepped into their home, where everything shifted into something a little more lived-in and familiar. Cozy corners, soft laughter, the kind of love that feels effortless and real. They carried that same calm energy with them, just in a different way… grounded, connected, and completely themselves. It wasn’t just about documenting a maternity session or a family session. It was about capturing the in-between… the waiting, the becoming, and the life they’ve already built together.
